Reliable F1FR56 Series Upright (RA1425) Fire Sprinkler Head

This Reliable F1FR56 Series Upright Fire Sprinkler features a Glass Bulb activating at 155F (68C) with a 5.6 K-Factor, and 1/2 in. NPT threads. Each upright head features a brass frame and brass deflector.

The RA1425 is a quick response, standard coverage sprinkler intended for use in light and ordinary hazard occupancies, operating with a maximum working water pressure of 175 PSI. Using a heat-activated glass bulb assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler activates when ambient temperatures reach 155F (68C), drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin.

This sprinkler delivers effective and adaptable defense against fire in a variety of sprinkler system designs. This low-profile sprinkler may be Installed Exposed in the upright position. If required, the RA1425 may be fitted with an approved Reliable water shield, making it appropriate for use as an Intermediate level sprinkler. When using Reliable F1FR56 Series Upright Sprinkler RA1425 for systems designed to NFPA13, apply the listed areas of coverage and minimum water supply requirements shown in the Approval Chart on page 3 of the datasheet. This pendent sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12.1 BAR) and connects to wet piping systems.

Reliable F1FR56 Series Upright (RA1425) Upright Sprinkler Installation and Other Information

During installation, be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 8 to 18 lb-ft (11 to 24 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional installation and storage information.

This upright sprinkler features a Brass Finish and a 155F (68C) activation temperature. Available finish options include Brass, Chrome, and White. White Polyester Finish (White) is UL Listed as corrosion resistant. Temperature options include 135F (57C) , 155F (68C), 175F (79C), 200F (93C), and 286F (141C).
