1-1/2 in. OS&Y Gate Valves for Fire Protection Systems
This 1-1/2 in. NPT durable Bronze OS&Y Gate Valve, or Outside Screw and Yoke Valve, is UL Listed and FM Approved to control water flow for use in standpipe systems, fire sprinkler systems, and plumbing systems. With a rated working water pressure of 175 PSI, and a cold working pressure of 175 CWP, this valve is suitable for installation above-ground and underground in many NFPA-compliant fire sprinkler and standpipe systems. This valve has two National Pipe Thread (NPT) connections.
This gate valve has a brass finish over a bronze body, with a brass stem and yoke bushing. The rising stem lets users know when the valve is closed, making it suitable for use as an indicating valve in fire protection systems. This OS&Y Gate Valve is tamper switch compatible, and may be fitted with external switches for monitoring by a fire alarm control panel.
